Event Waiver and Release of Liability
WARNING: READ CAREFULLY. THIS AGREEMENT INCLUDES A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER OF LEGAL RIGHTS AND DEPRIVES YOU OF THE RIGHT TO SUE THIS EVENT AND OTHER PARTIES. DO NOT SIGN THIS AGREEMENT UNLESS YOU HAVE READ IT IN ITS ENTIRETY. SEEK THE ADVICE OF LEGAL COUNSEL IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF ITS EFFECT.

In consideration of this entry being accepted, I hereby, for myself, heirs, executors, administrators and any minor child (if applicable), waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages that I may have against, City of San Diego, San Diego Police Foundation, International Association of Chiefs of Police, Volunteers, Event Committee and Event Sponsors, their representatives, successors and assigns or anyone otherwise connected with this event in any way, and assigns for any and all injuries suffered by me in said event, including travel to and from the event. I verify that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event. I grant permission for the free use of my name and picture in any broadcast, telecast or print media account of this event for current or future use.
